Account structure
Understand how organizations and projects structure workspaces, and how roles control access.
Resource hierarchy#
Lucius AI organizes testing assets into organizations and projects. The Organization and Project selectors in the header let you switch between the workspaces you have access to.
Organizations#
An organization represents your company, team, or business unit, and is the top-level container in Lucius AI. It groups the projects, users, and testing assets that belong to a team. Depending on your plan, an account may support a single organization or multiple organizations; creating, editing, or deleting one depends on your role.
Creating an organization#
If your plan and role allow it, open the Organization selector or the + button in the header and choose Create New Organization (or Add Organization), then provide a name and an optional short description.
Projects#
A project is the working boundary for a specific application, product, feature, or release inside an organization. Each project keeps its own test cases, suites, modules, parameters, and execution history — plus its own integrations, runners, and tunnels, configured in Project Settings.
Creating a project#
If your role allows it, open the Project selector or the + button in the header and choose Create New Project (or Add Project), then select an organization and provide a project name and optional description.
Roles and permissions#
What you can do within an organization or project — editing settings, inviting teammates, deleting resources — depends on your assigned role. Grant the narrowest role a teammate needs.
